After 20 years in a traditional web2 environment, I am now looking to transition into web3. I started my career in 2002 as a junior developer with no shiny diploma. I climbed the ladder step by step, became senior dev, then started to lead teams and learn how to manage projects by myself. In 2021 I was hired as a CTO by a web2 startup specialised in financial advising in France. Some said to me I made it to the top, but in the end I did not like that experience, I got too far away from the technical challenges and too close to the HR and management side, and I discovered i'm no good at firing people. I started to do side projects in web3 at that moment, because I needed to keep learning and coding new stuff. And web3 was the perfect playground. I started freelancing some months ago and performed missions through my contacts and network, while searching for opportunities in the web3 ecosystem…. and here I am.
