SO YOU WANT TO JOIN CANDY?

We are looking for a experienced Data Scientist to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will help drive the analytics for our technology and product driven teams to bring insightful recommendations to our business. You will play a major role in owning high impact product areas, driving transparency through reporting, identifying the value of existing data, and informing product strategy through opportunity and deep dive examination.

This role entails partnership with all parts of our organization. If you are detail and process oriented, excited to gain broad exposure to all parts of a business, interested in building a startup, and LOVE Data, then this role is for you!

We are creating a unique NFT ecosystem that will shift the way fans interact with their favorite cultural icon, music, art and sports. At Candy, we are in search of creative minds that are excited to take on difficulties in the immediate while providing vision to the future.

As our Most Valued Player, You Will…

Monitor critical metrics and investigate when necessary.
Perform root cause examination.
Translate data insights into product recommendations.
Develop new features for our insights domain.
Work with the team to develop a ML algorithm to drive insight .
Create models and evaluate trends with key stakeholders, providing recommendations to the business on how to improve those models.

You have experience with…

Building great relationships with internal and external partners and putting forth impactful examinations that directs to meaningful business impact.
3-5 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
Expert level usage of SQL or Hive.
Coding in R, Python or Pyspark and using Machine Learning or regressions to explain and predict business outcomes.
Strong visualization skills and experience with BI tools (ex. Looker).
A strong desire and aptitude to add to our culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Working with Product teams is a plus.

Total Compensation Range (Base + Equity): 190k-290k per year

Our compensation package currently breaks down into a base salary and an equity component for all employees. The candidate’s seniority and the evaluations made of that candidate during the interview process determine compensation.
