As a data scientist at CoinList, you'll find that your days are filled with all sorts of fascinating challenges -- Working in data at CoinList means that you will build pipelines, design schema , help the company to make high-impact decisions with key data analysis, and also build machine learning products for our internal and external users.

Specifically, we are looking for a Senior data scientist with 5+ years of experience to work with our Data team to power our analytics and some user-facing products.

Requirements

You know how to communicate complex data with simplicity using words and adequate data visualization.
You master data science methods ( regression, survival analysis, clustering, experimentation, etc)
You know how to design data models efficiently.
You know SQL, Python or R at proficient level.
You ship high-quality and actionable analysis.
You make deadlines for yourself, and you move fast.
People know they can count on you to get things done.

What you will do:

You'll contribute in all areas.
You might choose to go deep in analysis and research or build machine learning models to automate our operations, but like your teammates, you'll make a habit of working across the stack.
You'll ship product. From hack days, to experimental prototypes, to developing a new data product, you'll constantly be building and shipping product.
You'll write clean, tested, well-documented data models, follow best practices, and have the benefit of working in a place where people move fast.
You'll help shape the product. Our whole team cares deeply about the product and has significant input into its development. You'll beta test new prototypes and talk directly with users, and your ideas will always be heard.
You'll be an owner. We believe in hiring smart people and giving them as much responsibility as they can handle. We'll make sure you are always pushing yourself to new levels.
Crypto is a far bigger deal than most people realize, and at CoinList you will be be at the forefront of it.
There are all sorts of technical challenges you'll be working though and new questions you'll have to answer, in partnership with founders for the leading crypto projects across the globe. If you're successful, you'll build something the world has never before seen.

Location & Hybrid Office Setup:

This role is targeted in one of our three area hubs where teammates have a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days in the office and the other days at home.

General format:

Base salary range: X - Y k + equity + bonus. We are open to a range of background and experience levels for this role.

US salary range (from CA labor law 2023)

$150,000—$207,000 USD
