Responsibilities:

Perform data mining, cleaning, and preprocessing tasks to analyze large datasets.
Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems and optimize processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for data-driven insights.
Interpret and communicate analysis results effectively to stakeholders through reports, visualizations, and presentations.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations in the data.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data science and analytics.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and Python for data analysis and manipulation.
Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methods.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with large and complex datasets.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Mode, or Sigma Computing
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive
Experience with data engineering tools like Databricks, DBT, Fivetran, etc
Strong understanding of database systems and SQL for data querying and manipulation
