Our platform enables teams to build sophisticated AI solutions by combining leading AI models (like GPT-4, Claude, and Stable Diffusion) with powerful integrations to tools like Notion, Slack, and Google Drive.

With the launch of Salt 1.0, we're empowering organizations to build custom AI solutions that solve real business challenges, from automated research and analysis to content generation and policy compliance. We need an experienced technical writer to develop comprehensive documentation that will help our users unlock the full potential of these capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Salt v1.0
Create clear, engaging tutorials and guides for users of all skill levels
Write detailed technical reference documentation for our node system
Work closely with engineering team to understand and document features
Establish documentation standards and >
Document breaking changes and migration guides from previous versions

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years experience writing technical documentation for SaaS products, ideally in fast-growing startups
Proven track record of building documentation systems from scratch in a startup environment
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and terminology (LLMs, diffusion models, embeddings)
Excellent information architecture and organizational skills
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible content
Proficiency with Markdown and technical documentation tools
Basic understanding of version control concepts (Git)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI workflow tools (similar to Langchain, LlamaIndex)
Familiarity with modern AI technologies (LLMs, diffusion models)
Background in developer documentation
Experience with Python or similar programming languages
Knowledge of documentation platforms and best practices
Experience producing short video walkthroughs of features in action

Project Scope

Duration: 1-3 months (with potential for extension)
Full documentation development for Salt v1.0
Deliverables include:
Complete platform documentation
Getting started guides
Node reference documentation
Tutorials and example workflows
Style guide and documentation standards

$40 - $65 an hour
