The preferred location for this position is in or around Robinhood's offices in Menlo Park, CA, New York, NY, or Seattle, WA with in-office work capabilities, as may be required by management.

Insights from data power most decisions at Robinhood Crypto (RHC). This Senior Data Scientist-Analytics role will work with partners in product, marketing, engineering, finance, design, and compliance to understand and analyze data from all parts of our business to power how our product works and feels. Our company trajectory is defined by the systems, tools, and analytics powered by our exceptional team.

The Crypto team within Robinhood functions like a fast-paced startup within the larger organization and is composed of several product teams that build products and features to enable our users to research and invest in Crypto assets. From learning about Crypto to trading and using it â we seek to innovate on the appealing, intuitive user experiences that make Robinhood the leading destination for Equities investing, and deliver that same familiar experience to Crypto.

The ideal candidate is passionate about and has experience working in Crypto and Web3. We are seeking a cross-functional collaborator, who can integrate with a product team, develop deep knowledge of a product area, and leverage data and quantitative reasoning skills to persuade people to make different decisions or consider things they may not have thought to consider before.

What youâll do day-to-day:

Developing and sharing insights around the metrics that drive the company, your particular product, and parts of a larger product area
Working with partners to identify the metrics their product should track and developing and sharing analysis, guidance, reports, and dashboards to successfully track and move these metrics
Powering quick decisions by answering business questions by querying our vast datasets
Actively suggesting changes to help our customers and business based on a deep understanding of how people engage in our app.
Adapting quantitative techniques, including modeling, to solve problems surfaced by multiple perspectives
Mentoring others as needed to democratize the use of data within the company

About you:

5+ years of demonstrated experience working in product analytics or product data science, acting as the analytics voice in consumer product pods.
BA/BS/MS/PhD in behavioral science (economics, psychology etc) with strong statistical chops or a background in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, or natural sciences (or equivalent experience) with a strong curiosity about human behavior.
Excellent programming skills, including expert level skills with either Python (numpy, scipy, pandas) or R programming languages
Expert level SQL skills
Solid understanding of statistical analysis
Experience communicating data driven insights
The ability to use data to inform, persuade, and lead

The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhoodâs equity plan.

US Zone 1: $162000 - $190000
US Zone 2: $142000 - $167000
US Zone 3: $126000 - $148000

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. You can view comp zones for our US office locations in the table below. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
