**About the Role:**
We're seeking a results-driven
**AI Developer**
with a strong track record of building and deploying real-world AI systems — particularly in NLP, classification, and information retrieval. Your mission will be to architect and implement AI-driven solutions that match individuals with publicly available assistance programs (e.g., grants, scholarships, training). This is a
**build-and-ship role**
, not a research or junior analyst position.
**What You’ll Do:**
* Design and implement AI systems to parse, extract, and organize large volumes of data from websites and public databases (e.g., government, nonprofit, educational sites).
* Build NLP models that understand both user needs and program/grant eligibility language to drive accurate and scalable matching.
* Train and deploy models for intelligent tagging, semantic search, and candidate-program matching.
* Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy models as core platform services.
* Continuously evaluate and improve model performance using A/B testing, feedback loops, and retraining strategies.
* Work with new technologies like
**Manus AI**
to expand our intelligent automation and inference capabilities.
* Create and maintain clean, scalable databases that structure the scraped and processed data for downstream use.
**You’re a Great Fit If You:**
* Have
**3+ years of experience**
building and deploying AI/ML systems in production — not just in academic or research settings.
* Have hands-on experience with
**NLP**
,
**entity extraction**
,
**text classification**
,
**vector search**
, or
**recommendation systems**
.
* Are fluent in Python and popular ML frameworks like
**PyTorch**
,
**TensorFlow**
, or
**Hugging Face Transformers**
.
* Have experience with data ingestion and processing (e.g., web scraping, APIs, ETL pipelines).
* Know how to work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).
* Are comfortable exploring and adopting
**new tools**
, including emerging AI platforms like
**Manus AI**
.
* Can clearly demonstrate and articulate your past work — through case studies, portfolio links, or shipped products.
**Bonus Points For:**
* Experience with
**vector databases**
(e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS).
* Familiarity with LLM integration for semantic understanding.
* Knowledge of public benefits/grants/education tech or social impact platforms.
