Job Summary
HIghly experienced backend developer with SQL and NoSQL architecture and programming expertise (postgres preferred). Provide scalable and robust designs and implementations. This is a well funded company with excellent backing and opportunity for equity.
The Team
We're obsessed with building the most intuitive, decentralized short-term prediction platform in the world. Gamified to perfection and enjoyable for our players, while providing real short-term speculative and hedging services. We have built out a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that allows bids on the price of volatile assets, like Ether, with a lot more to come.
What we're looking for
- Development of high quality database solutions
- Develop, implement and optimize api, script methods and functions (and stored procedures if necessary)
- Review and interpret ongoing additions to dataset and api functionality
- Research and apply (suggest new approaches)
- Analyze existing database operations for performance improvements
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
- 7-10 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
- Excellent understanding of postgresql architecting and programming
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
