**Position: Business Intelligence (BI) Developer – Data Analyst**
**Location: Remote**
We are seeking a skilled and proactive
**Business Intelligence Developer**
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering reporting requirements directly from business users and designing and developing reports and dashboards using
**SAP BusinessObjects**
. A strong focus on data accuracy, performance, and user collaboration is essential.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Collaborate directly with business users to gather and document reporting and dashboard requirements
* Design, develop, and maintain BusinessObjects reports using tools such as
**Web Intelligence**
and
**Universe Designer**
* Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and optimal performance across all reporting solutions
* Work with data architects and analysts to align reporting with data models and business logic
* Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability
* Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues, including data inconsistencies and performance bottlenecks
* Support and enhance existing reports based on evolving business needs
**Required Skills & Qualifications:**
* Strong hands-on experience with
**SAP BusinessObjects**
, including
**Web Intelligence**
and
**Universe Designer**
* Proficient in
**SQL**
and familiar with
**data warehousing**
concepts
* Ability to interpret and optimize query execution plans
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
* Familiarity with performance tuning and data validation techniques
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in onsite/offshore delivery models
* Exposure to other BI tools such as
**Power BI**
or
**Tableau**
* Understanding of
**ETL processes**
and data integration
