Position
We are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst who is passionate about data to join BitTorrent’s team. You will partner with teams across the organization to uncover valuable insights, solve their data needs and to drive our business.
The ideal candidate will show a strong grasp of business models and statistics, excellent understanding of hypothesis testing, great analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to coherently describe technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide audience.
What you'll work on
- Develop informative analyses, data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to deliver business insights.
- Provide analytic support and expertise in defining KPIs, specify technical data requirements, and ensure all product feature and initiative launches have proper metric tracking.
- Own A/B testing measurements: Design measurement frameworks, summarize insights, and recommend strategic decisions based on data to improve the performance of our organization.
- Apply a diverse set of tactics including statistics and quantitative reasoning to solve problems.
Key Skills
- Bachelor’s degree Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or other analytical field
- 3+ of professional experience as a Data Analyst
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases
- Knowledge of statistics and data science concepts
- Experience with R or Python is a big plus
- Strong communication skills and comfortable presenting data clearly to audience of all levels
- Proficiency in BI dashboards and visualization tools is a plus (Tableau, Data Studio, Google Analytics, Advanced Excel)
