Insights from data power most decisions at Robinhood. In a Data Scientist-Analytics role at Robinhood, you will work with partners in marketing, product, engineering, finance, design, and compliance to understand and analyze data from all parts of our business to drive our Lifecycle Marketing strategy.
What youâll do
- Develop and share insights around our customers at all stages of their lifecycle
- Analyze and test engagement and retention strategies, improving our communications efficiency, and growing our measurement capabilities
- Design and implement randomized controlled experiments to systematically test and measure the impact of various lifecycle marketing initiatives, ensuring statistical significance and actionable outcomes
- Work with partners to identify the metrics their product should track and developing and sharing analysis, guidance, reports, and dashboards to optimally track and move these metrics
- Power quick decisions by answering business questions by querying our vast datasets
What you bring
- Experience working in digital marketing analytics
- Bachelors Degree in behavioral science (economics, psychology, etc) with strong statistical chops or in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, or natural sciences (or equivalent experience) with a strong curiosity about human behavior
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis with a focus on marketing analytics
- Excellent programming skills, including skills with either Python (numpy, scipy, pandas) or R programming languages
- Expert level SQL skills
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis
- Experience in experiment design
- Experience communicating data driven insights
- The ability to use data to advise, persuade, and lead
