Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Engineer to join our team of passionate data engineers, data scientists and analysts and help scale up our data engineering procedures. Our main goal is to ensure the data availability for internal and external processes. In this role, you help build great data infrastructure and enable teams across Nuri to make better data-informed decisions. Your main contributions will be to ensure we have a state-of-the-art data platform, build a data warehouse architecture and maintain robust data pipelines - ensuring all stakeholders getting high quality data in a timely manner.

Our current tech stack: Redshift, MongoDB, AWS Lambda, Stitch, Segment, Github

What you'll work on

Actively propose improvements and development of our current and future data tech stack
Build and maintain robust data pipelines and cloud data workloads
Work closely with data analysts and gather requirements
Integrate new data sources into our data warehouse
Develop highly scalable & performant data models - enabling complex data science projects for our analysts

What we're looking for

- 5 years experience as a Data / DWH Engineer - ideally in a startup setting, working with cloud solutions

Experience in at least one scripting language, ideally Python

Expert in SQL & database performance optimisations

Experience in setting up data orchestration tools such as DBT or Airflow and within AWS environment

Having developed data models and a data warehouse architecture

Experience in real-time data streaming would be preferred e.g. Kafka, Kinesis

Strong interest and passion for data engineering and data science

Structured at work, able to handle and prioritize your tasks well in an ambiguous environment
