THE OPPORTUNITY
As an integral role of our Engineering team, a Fullstack Developer navigates between setting the direction, developing code and working cross-functionally with Product Management. In this role, your primary responsibility will be implementing all elements that users interact with through our web products, developing server-side logic, and defining and maintaining the data model and APIs. The ability to combine your technical expertise with a clear and effective communication strategy is paramount as a member of a cross-functional group.
What we're looking for
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to device innovative technical solutions
- Integrate front-end user-facing elements with applications/products
- Define and maintain the data model and APIs
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Ensure that applications meet quality standards and user experience goals
- Write and maintain a full pyramid of tests
- Negotiate the gap between graphical design and technical implementation
- 5+ years of experience with front end development (HTML5, CSS3, React)
- 5+ years of experience with back end development (Node.js)
- 1+ year of experience with Python
- Experience with Scrum or Kanban methodologies
- Good grasp of a broad range of data structures and algorithms
- Solid experience building and designing highly scalable, fault tolerant and always available systems
- DevOps and hosting platform configuration experience
- A ‘driver’ with a ‘get it done’ positive attitude
- Experience managing multiple competing priorities with a sense of urgency
- Passionate self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who is able to work independently with limited oversight, manage ambiguity, and adapt to changing business needs
