Job Description:
JD Tech AI Lab at Silicon Valley, is looking for algorithm engineer interns with background in both software engineering and AI (e.g. machine learning, deep learning, and computer graphics). As an algorithm engineer, you will be uniquely positioned in our team to work on challenging problems and develop multi-modal AI applications. Our team has launched multiple vision/text/speech-centered products with AI technologies, such as automatic video generation and video enhancement, and will dedicate to evolve our algorithms to build more fascinating AI products. An ideal candidate will have passion on utilizing advanced technologies to solve real-world problems.
What you'll work on
- Improve the automation of the testing/deploying procedures in AI microservices that operate on large amounts of data with different formats, e.g., video, image, audio;
- Conduct development in multi-modal AI applications that involve computer vision, natural language processing, speech processing, and other related techniques;
- Work closely with other team members on implementing algorithms and systems that power customer-oriented products.
Key Qualifications:
- Knowledge of professional software engineering, including webapp development, build processes, testing, and production.
- Ability to implement practical algorithms with high quality code in selected programming languages, e.g., Python, Java, C++.
- Familiar with at least one of the following fields (but not limited to): machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, etc. Experiences with deep learning frameworks like Tensorflow or Pytorch would be a plus.
- Experiences in 3D computer vision or Computer Graphics would be a plus.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new things.
- Team orientation: we work towards our goal as an agile team together, rather than individually.
