The Department: Exchange Growth
What you'll work on
- Define and drive the fraud prevention strategy, identifying and addressing both existing and emerging risk vectors.
- Partner with Engineering and Data Science to design and implement scalable fraud detection systems and machine learning models.
- Collaborate with Fraud Operations to optimize case management, tooling, and workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
- Balance customer experience with risk mitigation, ensuring friction is minimized while fraud is proactively detected.
- Monitor, measure, and report on fraud trends, losses, and performance metrics to inform strategy and executive decision-making.
- Influence cross-functional teams, ensuring Trust & Safety is integrated across onboarding, payments, trading, and withdrawals.
- Champion an experimentation mindset, leveraging data-driven insights to test, learn, and adapt strategies for maximum impact.
- Act as a change leader, adapting quickly as priorities shift and ensuring alignment across teams through clear communication and a positive approach.
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of product management experience, with a focus on fraud, risk, trust & safety, or financial crime.
- Deep knowledge of fraud behaviors, detection mechanisms, and prevention strategies in fintech, payments, or crypto.
- Strong data and analytical skills, with experience partnering with data science teams on ML-driven fraud detection.
- Proven ability to balance customer experience with risk mitigation in retail-facing products.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with experience influencing engineering, design, and operations.
- Highly organized, with a track record of driving complex initiatives and thriving in fast-paced, evolving environments.
