Role overview
We are hosting OPEN Conference and Hackathon as an annual event to gather developers, data scientists, entrepreneurs, regulators, and large corporations to educate and bring new perspectives about how disruptive Web3 is as compared to our current and previous internet systems. The primary aim of this event is to raise awareness about the importance and urgency of solving the problem of concentrated power over our data and information technology (IT) technologies.
We want to provide valuable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities in the next generation of the internet, which is Web 3.0.
Why is it important and urgent to explore decentralization?
We want to put a halt to trusting centralized systems and handing over our future to them. When someone has access and control over a massive resource, things will always have a way to go overboard, and use it irresponsibly. They may have moral or ethical codes but having control over data as a great example has shown us how it was used commercially to control how a society thinks, and acts. We have seen how big Web2 corporations take advantage of our data. Web 3.0 presents an opportunity and responsibility for all of us to invent, define, question, and build better technologies for the future of the Internet, with a focus on decentralization and the empowerment of individuals.
OPEN conference, as an initiative within the Web3 space, will be an open area to challenge ideas about how we are going to build technologies, infrastructures, and standards across Web3.
What you'll work on
- Project Innovation: Lead the development of a pioneering project that integrates dynamic Knowledge Graph and Language Learning Model (LLM) with on-chain and DEX data to revolutionize the DeFi sector.
- DeFi Expertise: Apply your deep knowledge of the DeFi landscape to design and implement machine learning and NLP solutions that enhance understanding of complex transactions, empower developers, and facilitate the creation of advanced financial products and services.
- Solution Implementation: Develop and deploy DeFi Knowledge-Graph-as-a-service APIs and DeFi LLM-as-a-service APIs, ensuring accessibility, intelligence, and interactivity for a wide range of users.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data providers and technical support, to ensure the availability of real-time and historical data for constructing the Knowledge Graph and LLM.
- Technical Excellence: Leverage your expertise to establish and customize the SuperNode infrastructure, ensuring stability and efficiency for project commencement.
- Data Enrichment: Work closely with our Openmesh Infrastructure team to ensure the availability of categorized on-chain DeFi data, DEX native data, and Ethereum consensus layer data.
- Model Enhancement: Continuously refine and enhance the Knowledge Graph and LLM to deliver valuable insights and predictions for DeFi decision-making.
- Project Oversight: Contribute to the project management process by overseeing timelines, deliverables, and KPIs in collaboration with the project team.
What we're looking for
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in machine learning, NLP, and data-driven project leadership.
- Proven track record of innovation in the DeFi sector, demonstrated by successful projects and publications.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing dynamic Knowledge Graphs and Language Learning Models.
- Strong programming skills in Python, and familiarity with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and spaCy.
- Experience with deploying and managing APIs and utilizing web3 interfaces.
- Knowledge of blockchain technology, DeFi Networks, and decentralized exchanges.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
