Ripple is the world’s only enterprise blockchain solution for global payments. Today the world sends more than $155 trillion across borders. Yet, the underlying infrastructure is dated and flawed. Ripple connects banks, payment providers, corporates, and digital asset exchanges to provide one streamlined experience to send money globally.
What you'll work on
- Lead, build, and mentor a team of software engineers designing, developing and maintaining the large-scale distributed payment applications.
- Provide the hands on technical leadership
- Encourage and drive engineering processes
- Collaborate across the organization with Product, Program, and Delivery
- Establish team objectives and quarterly plans in alignment with business and organizational goals
- Own and deliver the product roadmap
What we're looking for
- Experienced in software development building large scale distributed systems, of which roughly four years have been in Java or similar (Golang, Scala, or similar)
- Experienced in people management experience leading five or more software development engineers and managers
- Demonstrated leadership ability and successes requiring strong interpersonal skills
- Experience working on transactional systems—preferably in Payments, banking, trading, and e-commerce domains
- Experience developing distributed services with a focus on robust software design, reliability, scalability and security
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
