Our challenge The Global Payments team is undertaking multiple complex initiatives (e.g. SWIFT ISO20022/CBPR+ adoption) as part of Client Capital Markets ongoing plan to improve and modernize payments technology and processes across the organization. The Global Payment Lead Business & Technical Analyst will be responsible for the collection and documentation of Swift standards & release requirements, evaluation of business processes, conduct data analysis, capturing workflows, and perform testing to ensure successful Swift implementations. The Business Analyst will also engage with various partners across the organization for both payment & non-payment related internal and external technology upgrades. In addition, analyst is to liaise with key stakeholders and program leads & teams to support overall communications across teams.

Additional Information*  The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $100k - $105k/year & benefits (see below).

What we're looking for

Collect and document Swift requirements from key stakeholders across Capital Markets, Wealth Management, I&TS, and other divisions. Mapping of workflows, process flows and tasks using various tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Office and Mural. Drafting and monitoring of BA Jira’s for each initiative/ project. Participate in the testing, deployment and continuous integration of relevant systems. Provide support to Product, Technology and Operations teams.

Strong technical and financial Capital Markets and Payments Ops background. Extensive experience with data processing, storage, and management systems. Strong technical background with an understanding of modern payments technology and design principles. Experience with cloud-based system and data architectures. Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and projects. Experience in handling big data financial projects and associated systems and technologies. Ability to work with vendors, formulate requirements, and negotiate deliverables.
