Role overview
The Central Grading team evaluates the performance of students within 2U Bootcamp classrooms. Beyond grading student assignments, administrative upkeep is required on the team. Senior Central Graders play an integral role in communicating with classroom stakeholders to ensure student satisfaction. Central Graders as a whole aim to provide students with meaningful feedback that elevates the experience of the virtual classroom.
Senior Central Graders are masters of the curriculum and the underlying core fundamental concepts. As a Senior CG, you are the first level of support for your team and will be working closely with your direct manager to support the day-to-day operations.
What we're looking for
- Prepare and stay up to date with specific curriculum expectations and core concepts.
- Training and supporting Central Graders to adhere to established standards of support.
- Mastery of the curriculum material of the assigned program, supporting students and graders with technical and service escalation requests.
- Host and coordinate meetings with the Central Grading team related to training and onboarding.
- Support students with escalated service-related issues, turning negative experiences into positive ones.
- Coach and mentor Central Graders.
- Perform quality control metrics as requested by Central Grading Management.
- Additional duties, as assigned, including but are not limited to those outlined in the Central Grader job description.

Hourly salary only: In Colorado, the anticipated hourly salary for this role is $25/hr. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate’s assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
