Role overview
In a virtual environment intended to support curriculum-related questions, "Senior Learning Assistants" play an integral role in building trust and executing on engagement with students to "assist" their "learning" experience. Learning Assistants have an opportunity to play a more virtual-friendly role that directly relates to the Bootcamp journey and add meaning to our pedagogy of learning in a virtual capacity.
Senior Learning Assistants are masters of the curriculum and the underlying core fundamental concepts. As a Senior LA, you are the first level of support for your team and will be working closely with your direct manager to support the day-to-day operations.
What we're looking for
- User-Centric Design Research using Qualitative and Quantitative Practices, Information Architecture and Flow, User Need Identification, User Experience Interviewing, Proto-Personas, and Insight Synthesis
- Visual Prototyping and Wireframing using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Keynote, Storyboarding, Decision Mapping and Decision Flow Diagrams
- User Interface Development employing Atomic Design, UI Grids and Composition, Color Theory, Heuristic Metric Creation, Typographic Theory, Interaction Design anIconography
- Web Prototyping and Development Languages HTML 5, CSS 3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Prepare and stay up to date with specific curriculum expectations and core concepts.
- Mastery of the curriculum material of the assigned program, supporting students with technical and service escalation requests.
- Training and support Learning Assistants to adhere to established standards of support.
- Support students with escalated service-related issues, turning negative experiences into positive ones!
- Host and coordinate daily meetings.
- Coach and mentor Learning Assistants.
- Perform quality control metrics as requested by Learning Assistant Management.
- Additional duties, as assigned, including but are not limited to those outlined in the Learning Assistant Job Description.

Hourly salary only: In Colorado, the anticipated hourly salary for this role is $25/hr. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate’s assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
