As a
**Research Engineer**
you’ll be responsible for:
* Collaborate closely with the founding team and scientific advisors to build and deploy
**scalable generative ML models**
on
**AWS**
and
**GCP**
, using
**Ray**
and
**Anyscale**
.
* Run
**large-scale distributed training and inference**
across thousands of GPUs.
* Develop robust ML tooling and libraries that support rapid experimentation and scaling.
* Design rigorous validation and benchmarking systems for high-quality model performance.
* Work autonomously and think critically to tackle open-ended, high-impact problems.
* Integrate biological feedback from wet lab experiments on proteins and cancer cells to continuously improve our models.
What we're looking for
* Degree in
**computer science**
,
**applied math**
,
**computational biology**
, or a related quantitative field.
* **4+ years**
experience training and deploying
**deep learning models**
at scale.
* Strong software engineering skills, especially in building and maintaining ML libraries.
* Hands-on experience with
**distributed training**
and
**parallelized workloads**

* A proven ability to
**communicate scientific ideas**
, solve novel problems, and collaborate across disciplines.
Other Skills of interest:
* Experience with
