Role overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Backend Developer to lead the development and deployment of complex blockchain applications. The ideal candidate will have experience building large, scalable applications, working with Bitcoin, and building systems which solve the Byzantine generals problem through consensus algorithms. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, independent individual who thrives in startup environments and is keen to embody the entrepreneurial spirit that propels our company forward.
What you'll work on

Architect, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and very reliable code for blockchain applications, ensuring high performance and robust operation.

Build, deploy and maintain auditing and monitoring systems to monitor and track the performance and security of the systems.

Work autonomously and take initiative in identifying and tackling complex problems, leading the development process from inception to deployment.

Collaborate directly with the founding team to define project roadmaps and deliverables.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving software excellence and the integration of new technologies and methodologies.

Provide mentorship and support to team members, contributing to the collective growth and success of our startup.

Respond to and triage support issues that arise.

Actively participate in agile development practices, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
