Role overview
We believe that anyone can learn anything, and thus we value personal traits more than work experience, but any past experience in relevant areas will be hugely helpful in your day-by-day responsibilities:
- You have 1+ years of experience with smart contracts and the Ethereum ecosystem (Solidity, Web3, Truffle, etc.).
- You have 1+ years of experience writing code using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- You have a basic understanding of cryptographic algorithms and game theory.
- You are excited about the technical challenges of decentralization and are ready to dig into low-level implementation details.
- You are comfortable working in collaborative environments with a fast-paced and agile development process.
We would strongly recommend you to include the projects you are proud of. We'll value your past contributions to open-source projects and communities. We are open-sourcing all of our software too!
What you'll work on
You'll part of a team in charge of the development of smart contracts needed for the Witnet ecosystem and outward-facing integrations. You will be designing and implementing smart contracts and dApps powered by the Witnet network while ensuring security and coding best practices.
