Role overview
8+ years of backend engineering experience ideally in data engineering domains. Ideally 2+ years experience in data intensive systems and exposure to crypto strongly preferred.
Strong CS fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, system design, and performance optimization.
Deep knowledge of backend technologies, including databases, orchestrators, messaging systems, data pipelines, and more.
Track record of technical leadership, leading complex projects, mentoring engineers, and setting engineering standards.
Experience with large-scale data ingestion and processing systems. Has built/ owned ETL pipelines or data ingestion flows (eg: with Kafka, Spark etc). Understands data modeling and is comfortable with large data sets, thinks about cost/performance tradeoffs
Drawn to an early-stage, high-growth startup environment with less stability and more ambiguity.
