Role overview
Spotify is seeking a Staff Product Designer to help define and deliver the future of Spotify’s experience in third-party AI agents and ecosystems. This is a rare opportunity to shape how music, podcasts, and audiobooks are discovered, consumed, and enjoyed as the paradigm of interaction shifts toward agentic, AI-driven experiences.
In this role, you will bring deep AI literacy, strong design craft, and proven experience working with major technology partners. You’ll envision, prototype, and deliver elegant solutions that work within partner design systems while championing Spotify’s identity and strategic goals. Working across design, product, engineering, and business development teams, you’ll help ensure Spotify leads in this new frontier.
What we're looking for
Who You Are
- A senior design leader with deep literacy in AI - both conceptually and practically - and already playing a pioneering role in the AI design space.
- Expert in visual design, UX, and system thinking, with a portfolio that demonstrates outstanding craft and forward-looking interaction design.
- Experienced in partnering with major technology companies, navigating their ecosystems, and delivering successful joint experiences.
- Creative and resourceful, able to find elegant solutions within constraints of partner design systems.
- Skilled at balancing strategic priorities and business impact with design quality.
- Technically fluent, able to collaborate with engineers and product managers on prototyping and implementation.
- Excellent communicator, comfortable representing Spotify to senior external stakeholders and pitching bold ideas.
