Job Description
The Role: MicroStrategy is seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Product Management with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence (AI), experience with digital payment systems, and expertise in database management systems, AI vendors, ETL, and the management of electronic payment systems to lead our AI product portfolio. This leadership role is instrumental in shaping and executing MicroStrategy's AI strategy, driving innovation, and delivering cutting-edge AI solutions to our customers.
Your Focus:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive AI product strategy aligned with the company's overall vision and goals. Define the product roadmap and set clear priorities to drive product development.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs in the AI domain. Use these insights to inform product strategy and make data-driven decisions.
- Build and lead a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the development of AI products. Ensure product quality, usability, and timely delivery.
- Establish strong relationships with key customers, gathering feedback and insights to continuously improve AI products. Act as a customer advocate within the organization.
- Drive revenue growth through effective pricing strategies, product packaging, and expansion into new markets. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue targets.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI technology and apply this knowledge to enhance MicroStrategy's AI product offerings.
- Ensure AI products comply with relevant regulations and security standards. Implement best practices for data privacy and security.
- Oversee the development, integration, and management of electronic payment systems within AI products, ensuring seamless and secure transactions.
- Work with members of the team to execute the development and delivery of an innovative portfolio of highly differentiated, SaaS-based platforms and products in the emerging crypto rewards and payment space.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on the performance of AI products. Use data to assess product effectiveness and make improvements.
What we're looking for
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of leadership in product management, specifically in the AI space.
- Deep knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and deep learning.
- Experience with digital payment systems, including payment processing, security, and compliance.
- Proficiency with database management systems and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with leading AI vendors and their offerings.
- Experience with ETL processes and tools.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience with agile product development methodologies.
- Prior experience in a senior leadership role within a technology-driven organization.
