Fanatics is the majority owner of Candy Digital, a next generation digital collectibles company that is partnering with prominent sports properties - including MLB and MLBPA - to build an official NFT ecosystem where fans and collectors come to purchase, trade and share officially licensed NFT’s. Additional ventures that will build out Fanatics’ footprint across the broader digital sports landscape will be announced in the coming months. Fanatics’ partners include all major professional sports leagues (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, NASCAR, MLS, PGA) and hundreds of collegiate and professional teams, which include several of the biggest global soccer clubs. Reporting to the SVP of FP&A and Investor Relations and based in the New York Office, the VP of FP&A will serve as a critical member of the finance leadership team. S/he will be directly involved in standing up the holding company structure for Fanatics, leading the holding company’s consolidated forecast process on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis as well as contribute to our long-range planning process. The role will have significant exposure to the management team and be involved in strategic decisioning.

The successful candidate must have the ability to function in a matrixed environment at a broad-based, strategic level while being capable of driving detailed, tactical execution.

A proven conceptual and strategic thinker who is capable of distilling, packaging and presenting complex information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner Must be seen as a strong business person who knows how to partner with senior executives and guide change. An entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing new, innovative ideas that will stretch the organization and push the boundaries within the industry. The successful candidate will also bring with him/her immense curiosity; challenging the status quo and stirring innovative approaches to existing processes and operations. The ability to effectively balance the desire/need for broad change with an understanding of how much change the organization is capable of handling, to create realistic goals and implementation plans that are achievable and successful The ideal candidate should have strong experience in a broad range of functional disciplines including Marketing, R&D, Compensation and workforce planning, Accounting, Supply Chain, Sourcing / Procurement, Demand management and Strategy would be seen as a distinct advantage. The ideal candidate should have at least 12 years of finance experience with increasing responsibility in core areas such as FP&A, Accounting, Equity Research and/or Commercial Finance. Finance, Accounting or Economics undergraduate degree required. MBA, CPA and/or CFA strongly preferred.
