Role overview
JCW has partnered with a large financial institution seeking an AI Engineer to deploy and scale enterprise AI solutions, with a strong focus on Large Language Model (LLM) applications and modern MLOps/AIOps practices. This role bridges data science and software engineering, transforming AI prototypes into secure, production-grade systems that deliver measurable business value. The engineer will design and maintain scalable architecture, integrate AI models into production environments, and collaborate across technical and business teams to operationalize AI capabilities.
This role is 4 Days on-site in their in NYC location.
Key Qualifications:
Expertise in LLM and generative AI applications, including RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
Proven experience building and deploying AI systems using MLOps/AIOps frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud ML platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Snowflake-native ML (Snowpark, UDFs, Tasks/Streams).
Solid foundation in full-stack or API development (Flask, FastAPI, Node.js) and data engineering (SQL, ETL, Spark/PySpark).
Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to lead technical initiatives across teams.
