**AI Linguist & Prompt Engineer
Overview**
:
We are seeking an
AI Linguist and Prompt Engineer
to support the development and evaluation of AI systems. This role focuses on prompt engineering, linguistic evaluation and content quality, helping improve AI accuracy, fluency and cultural relevance across text, voice and multimodal products.
What you'll work on
- Deliver high quality content to improve AI models.
- Review, revise, edit and validate content prepared by others, including AI - generated outputs.
- Evaluate AI outputs and identify gaps, redundancies and/or inconsistencies across model tasks, in English and in multilingual contexts.
- Develop sets of extremely complex, multi-instruction prompts with corresponding rubrics and reference responses to expose weaknesses in LLMs
- Craft prompts designed to test potential safety and PII gaps in models (red teaming)
- Collaborate with client teams to understand or clarify project requirements.
- Design and establish linguistic and editorial style guidelines and standards to meet client needs.
- Create, compile and organize technical and AI related documentation for internal and external use, in adherence to established processes.
- Evaluate multiple AI-generated code outputs to determine which solution is most efficient, readable, and architecturally sound
- Support technical content and workflow documentation, including contributions to architecture or process diagrams as needed.
What we're looking for
- Strong proficiency in English required. Pair language preferred but not required.
- Experience in linguistic review, content quality or technical writing.
- Experience in prompt engineering (6 months minimum).
- Strong editorial, analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to understand AI workflows and technical concepts at a high level.
- Proven proficiency in Python in previous roles
- Ability to read and interpret Python fluently; ability to understand the intent of the code without needing to execute it.
- Strong understanding of "Clean Code" principles and the ability to explain why one coding approach is better than another.
- Strong experience working with Google Workspace
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and last minute changes during the course of a project.
