Machine Learning (ML) has become extensively utilized in perception tasks within automobile applications. Aptiv has a longstanding history in the field of vision and Radar perception, and has been a pioneering force in employing ML for Radar perception. However, we're not content and stop there. We recognize the existence of even more challenging tasks, such as achieving human-like traffic scene understanding, trajectory prediction, and planning. These areas often pose hurdles for traditional rule- or model-based systems. Both academia and industry have come to recognize that data-driven and ML-based approaches offer the most viable solutions.

- Deep neural networks and other state of the art ML techniques for perception, segmentation, fusion, prediction and planning, or other related applications
- Active, reinforcement learning, imitation learning
- Time series prediction with modern ML techniques
