Location: Denver, Colorado (Hybrid)
Compensation: $195,000 – $220,000 base salary + bonus + full benefits
About the Opportunity
DNS Solutions is exclusively representing a confidential enterprise client seeking an experienced Automation & Generative AI Engineering Manager to lead the design, delivery, and evolution of next-generation intelligent automation and AI-driven software solutions.
This leadership role is responsible for overseeing automation engineering, custom application development, and emerging generative AI initiatives that support enterprise-wide operational efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
You will guide technical teams responsible for building intelligent automation systems, enterprise AI assistants, and modern application solutions while ensuring architectural integrity, scalability, and security across the organization.
This is a high-impact leadership role offering the opportunity to shape enterprise automation strategy and influence the adoption of modern AI technologies.
What you'll work on
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of intelligent automation and AI-enabled software solutions
- Oversee development roadmaps and ensure alignment with business and technology objectives
- Guide architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence
- Review code, enforce engineering standards, and promote software quality and reliability
Generative AI & Intelligent Automation
- Drive adoption and implementation of generative AI technologies and intelligent automation platforms
- Lead development of enterprise AI assistants, automation workflows, and agent-based systems
- Ensure responsible and secure implementation of AI technologies, including governance and risk mitigation
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, automation developers, and technical specialists
- Provide technical leadership, career development guidance, and performance feedback
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions
- Translate business needs into scalable technical implementations
- Support enterprise modernization and digital transformation initiatives
Operational & Engineering Excellence
- Establish best practices in software development, DevOps, and automation
- Promote reuse, efficiency, and standardization across platforms
- Ensure systems meet performance, security, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

- Experience leading enterprise-scale technical initiatives
- Experience implementing enterprise automation solutions
- Exposure to generative AI technologies and AI-enabled workflows
- Experience designing scalable, distributed systems
- Experience working within complex enterprise environments
