Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated
Data Scientist
to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in AI and machine learning to build and deploy models, interpret large datasets, and derive actionable insights. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and recommend the right analytical approach, while also playing a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful stories that influence decision-making. What we're looking for
- Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
- Build, maintain and implement models to create complex categorization of behavioral data that is highly accurate and automated.
- Understand the business needs and challenges, and recommend the best data-driven approach to address them.
- Write and run complex queries on large datasets using SQL to extract, clean, and manipulate data.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify key drivers of business performance and create effective segmentation strategies through cluster analysis.
- Perform segmentation and clustering analysis to discover meaningful patterns and groupings within the data.
- Analyze trends and patterns that provide valuable insights and guide decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, researchers, and business leaders, to ensure data solutions align with company goals.
- Continuously evaluate and improve model performance, making adjustments as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in data science, machine learning, and AI to maintain a competitive edge.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role in AI and machine learning model development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets and performing data manipulation.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model deployment.
- Ability to understand business problems and translate them into data science solutions.
- Expertise in key driver analysis to identify the factors influencing business outcomes.
- Experience with segmentation and clustering techniques (e.g., K-means, hierarchical clustering) to identify patterns in large datasets.
- Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other data science programming languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib) is a plus.
- A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with leveraging data for marketing insights.
