Role overview
- Analyze large, structured datasets provided by partner organizations.
- Design reasoning-based analytics questions that require multi-step problem-solving and data interpretation.
- Write and validate SQL queries using Snowflake-compatible syntax, DuckDB, pandas, or Python notebooks.
- Produce clear, human-readable explanations that articulate analytical reasoning and insights.
- Format deliverables into structured outputs including questions, queries, and answers.
- Collaborate with peers and reviewers to ensure consistency, accuracy, and high-quality outputs.
What we're looking for
- Strong professional background in data science, analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience using pandas or DuckDB.
- Solid foundation in data exploration, statistical reasoning, and business intelligence.
- Experience working with Jupyter notebooks, iPython, or version control tools.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex reasoning clearly.
- Ability to structure analytical workflows for both human interpretation and AI training.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
