Role overview
We are looking for a Data Scientist Team Lead to lead strategic research initiatives.Lead a high-impact team of researchers within our Research Department. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, people management, and the ability to navigate complex cross-functional relationships. You will be responsible for translating research into business impact.
What you'll work on
- Translating research into business impact
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented Data Scientists and Researchers.
- Master task management and prioritization in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Act as the primary technical bridge between the Research team and various departments, including Risk, Engineering, and Business.
- Design solutions for the company’s core mission using Data Science methodologies from various domains
- Ensure the highest standards of code quality, research methodology, and statistical validation.
What we're looking for
- B.A a related field- Math/CS/Physics/Stats
- 2+ years of experience as Team Lead Data Scientist
- 5+ years of experience in Data Scientist, working with tabular data on ML modeling
- Running live experiments
- Experience in methodological leadership, mentoring
- Track record of translating research into business impact
- Knowledge of Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, XGBoost, Scikit-learn). Deep understanding of statistics and probability.
- Great interpersonal skills, and strong collaborator
