Description
We seek a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in designing and implementing advanced algorithms for multimodal sensor fusion. The ideal candidate brings proven expertise in translating cutting-edge research into production-ready solutions that delight users at scale.
What you'll work on
- Leading the development of cutting-edge multimodal fusion algorithms and taking ideas from concept t shipping
- Driving cross-functional collaboration to understand algorithmic constraints, dependencies, and technical trade-offs
- Partnering with engineers and designers to architect proof-of-concepts and prototype novel hardware for innovative applications
- Leading technical discussions and preparing presentations, papers, and talks to communicate your inventions and establish thought leadership
- Establishing coding standards, best practices, and technical strategies for your team
What we're looking for
- Ph.D. or M.S., with 3+ years of industry experience in deep learning or related fields.
- Excellent math skills, including linear algebra, computational science and optimization
- Creativity and curiosity for solving highly complex problems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Hands-on experience of working with sensors and hardware
- An interest in incubating ideas and taking them to finish
- Experience shipping algorithms or publishing in top tier AIML conferences
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
