Role overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-ready AI solutions powered by modern LLM and retrieval architectures.
This role combines strong Python engineering expertise with hands-on experience in GenAI frameworks, vector databases, and cloud-native deployment. You will work on scalable AI systems that integrate advanced retrieval, agentic workflows, and enterprise-grade backend services.
What we're looking for
- Design and implement AI-powered backend services using Python and FastAPI
- Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
- Develop and refine advanced prompt engineering strategies
- Integrate and manage vector databases and embedding models
- Develop multi-step and graph-based workflows using LangChain and LangGraph
- Implement AI service communication patterns using FastMCP
- Work with multi-agent frameworks (e.g., CrewAI, Autogen, Taskweave) where applicable
- Deploy and maintain solutions on Azure Cloud, including Azure Functions
- Process, clean, and transform large datasets using Pandas and NumPy
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and containerized deployments (Docker)
- Ensure responsible AI practices, including bias mitigation and ethical considerations
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to translate business needs into scalable AI systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Strong Python software engineering expertise
- Hands-on experience with:
- FastAPI
- Pandas & NumPy
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Prompt engineering
- Vector databases and embeddings
- LangChain and LangGraph
- FastMCP
- Experience working with Azure cloud services (Azure Functions required)
- Experience with version control, unit testing, CI/CD, packaging, and Docker
- Ability to work with large datasets and implement data transformations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with multi-agent frameworks (CrewAI, Autogen, Taskweave)
- Familiarity with additional cloud platforms and AI services
- Understanding of data engineering (pipelines, integration, warehousing)
- Knowledge of AI ethics and responsible AI practices
