milia is the AI-powered all-in-one platform for German tax advisory firms: workflow management, client portal, document intelligence, and DATEV integration — all in one system. Our AI layer, milia.AI, is not a feature. It's the core of the product.
We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help build, own, and scale it.
What you'll work on
- Agentic Workflow Engine: autonomous, multi-step workflows for tax processes (documents, deadlines, client communication)
- Document Intelligence: extraction, classification, and analysis of tax-relevant documents (P&L statements, receipts, DATEV exports)
- Tool-Calling & Custom Prompt Library: structured LLM usage across internal and external APIs
DATEV API integration with semantic processing of financial data - Real-time financial analysis features (P&L analysis, liquidity planning, KPI dashboards)
What we're looking for
- Familiarity with German tax or accounting context (DATEV, chart of accounts, P&L structure)
- Experience with document parsing (PDFs, OCR, table extraction)
- Comfort building in early-stage product environments
