What you'll work on
- Own the development, validation, and deployment of advanced Machine Learning models, managing dependencies and coordinating with other team members to ensure successful delivery.
- Design and execute rigorous data-driven research to analyze the impact of various factors on business outcomes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate ambiguous problems into structured analytical solutions and suggest new initiatives that unlock organizational value.
- Communicate complex methodologies and findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, acting as a technical leader within the org.
- Proactively search, identify, and implement improvements to team processes, tooling, and standards.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and state-of-the-art methodology in data science.
What we're looking for
- Master's degree or a PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in data science with a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects.
- Ability to select and apply appropriate advanced data science methodologies to solve complex business problems.
- Deep expertise in a complex data science domain (e.g. NLP, causal inference) with practical experience applying a range of data science methodologies (e.g., classification, time series analysis, deep learning, etc.).
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL and experience with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Experience productionizing machine learning models and familiarity with MLOps concepts.
- An advocate for clean code principles and engineering best practices.
- Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business insights for diverse audiences.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration and mentoring skills.
- Experience in the Real Estate industry or other market-driven domains is a plus.
Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $173,400-$195,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
