I spent 9 years programming in Java, with nearly 3.5 of those years as a team leader, and over a year as a chapter leader (where I managed 5 teams, consisting of over 20 people). A year ago, I decided to take a break to clear my mind. I spent 345 days traveling by bike through Western Europe with a tent strapped to the rear rack. Accepting whatever comes. Now I'm back and ready to continue developing my programming skills. In life, I set ambitious goals and find a way to achieve them. The journey mentioned above is just one of many examples. I'm a strong asset to any team. The verbal feedback I've received has indicated that I boost morale.
