Hi, I'm Salmaan and I'm a fullstack software engineer who enjoys developing web applications alongside a team of cross-functional members to build effective and robust products. I'm impact-driven, value feedback, and love to learn. Prior to pursuing software engineering, my earlier experience comes from international capacity development with a focus on international economic statistics. My expertise lies in backend infrastructure, API design, and writing code designed for readability, adaptability, and extendability. I have experience in React frontend development, as well as, backend development in Ruby on Rails, Java Springboot, and Python Flask. My motto is to ‘leave it better than I found it’ and I bring that mentality and purpose to any project I work on. My personal interests include: technology and electronics, FinTech and EdTech, soccer, snowboarding, and video games.
