What we look for?
We are looking for a consultant who is genuinely passionate about AI and excited to lead AI initiatives that fundamentally change how software is built and delivered. This is not a role for someone who wants to “add a bit of AI” on top of existing systems. This role is for someone who wants to challenge legacy delivery models, question old assumptions, and help the client move toward a modern, AI‑native way of working.
You will be part of a team with real freedom to experiment, propose bold ideas, and turn AI experimentation into tangible, scalable outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and champion AI and Generative AI initiatives across software delivery, actively shaping how AI is adopted and scaled within the client environment.
- Act as a change agent, challenging traditional software development practices and replacing them with faster, smarter, AI‑enabled approaches.
- Proactively identify opportunities where AI and GenAI can disrupt existing workflows, improve productivity, reduce cycle time, or unlock new capabilities.
- Drive continuous experimentation by proposing ideas, building prototypes, validating value, learning quickly, and iterating based on outcomes.
- Move AI use cases from isolated proofs of concept into production‑ready, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Inspire and influence the wider team by sharing knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned from AI experiments and real implementations.
- Work closely with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders as one team, turning curiosity and innovation into measurable business impact.
- Take ownership beyond assigned tasks, actively looking for ways to improve delivery, quality, and team effectiveness through AI.
Mandatory requirements:
- Proven experience in .NET development with a strong focus on .NET 8, with at least 8+ years of professional experience.
- Advanced proficiency in C# version 11 or higher, with deep understanding of object‑oriented programming and modern software design.
- Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating backend services across distributed systems.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Durable Functions, to build cloud‑native, scalable, and event‑driven solutions.
- Strong experience designing, optimizing, and working with data models and access patterns using Azure Cosmos DB.
- Solid engineering discipline, including unit testing, code reviews, and a focus on maintainable, high‑quality solutions.
AI‑first and GenAI mindset (non‑negotiable)
- Deep enthusiasm for AI and Generative AI, with a strong desire to explore, learn, and apply new AI capabilities continuously.
- Hands‑on experience integrating AI or GenAI capabilities into real systems, such as assistants, copilots, summarization, classification, intelligent automation, or decision‑support features.
- Strong interest in how AI is reshaping the software development paradigm, including how engineers design, code, test, document, and operate systems.
- Comfortable challenging “the way things have always been done” and proposing better alternatives grounded in experimentation and evidence.
- Naturally curious, proactive, and creative, with the confidence to propose ideas and the discipline to turn them into outcomes.
- Willing to go beyond the obvious use cases and push AI further to create meaningful impact for both the client and the team.
- Motivated to uplift others by sharing AI knowledge, encouraging experimentation, and helping build an AI‑driven culture.
