The Role

As a Business Development Intern, you will work on our Business Development Team, which operates at the intersection of sales, New Markets, and driving product sales to existing customers. You will learn to qualify and sell our products to existing and new customers. You’ll find yourself constantly challenged and excited about the next big thing.

Our program allows people like yourself to gain diverse and valuable experience, make a real impact, and find their place in one of the fastest-growing industries. This internship will focus on Financial Services, Fintech, Crypto, and other New Verticals.

This is an on-site Intern position based in our Vancouver office. The intern will work an estimated 40 hours per week.

About you

Educated: Pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Communicative: Whether written or verbal, people know what you mean, what you are asking for, and what is expected.
Organized: You have excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
Customer-oriented: You center your service and work around the customer’s satisfaction.
Initiative: You can assess issues and take action independently.
Proficient: Experience or interest in new markets and great with presentations. You’re tech-savvy and quickly pick up new technologies or products.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting in qualifying new gaming leads and opportunities.
Assisting in conducting new market opportunities and competitive analyses.
Collaborating with customers, teammates, and subject matter experts to drive products.
Researching insights into customer needs and presenting findings to executives and stakeholders.
Identifying opportunities and weaknesses facing the product through analysis (e.g., SWOT).
Tracking updates and changes in gaming market legislation, regulations, and licensing.
Owning project documentation through formal and informal notes, draft manuals, and reports
Other tasks as assigned

$22 - $24 an hour

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several Global markets. The salary for this position ranges from $44,000/year up to $50,000/year. Pay is based on several factors evaluated throughout the interview, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At GeoComply, our salary bands are crafted with purpose.
