We handle the complex (technology, compliance, and partnerships with highly-rated insurance carriers), so they can focus on serving their customers and growing their business.About the RoleWe're looking for a senior applied AI engineer to build production AI systems across Authentic's platform. You'll work on the full stack—from LLM integrations and prompt engineering to the interfaces that put AI capabilities in front of users. Our AI applications span document processing, risk assessment, and intelligent automation that transforms how insurance operations work.Responsibilities
Ship end-to-end AI features that automate complex insurance workflows, from document extraction to claims processing
Build and integrate LLM-powered systems using OpenAI and Anthropic APIs, including RAG pipelines, structured extraction, and AI agents
Design and implement the infrastructure needed to run AI systems reliably in production
Partner with product, operations, and underwriting teams to identify high-impact opportunities for AI automation
Iterate on AI systems based on real-world performance, optimizing for accuracy, latency, and cost
Improve engineering processes and tools to help the team ship AI solutions faster
