What you'll work on
- Develop, train, and fine-tune machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and other AI tools to solve complex problems across various domains.
- Implement unsupervised learning techniques for pattern recognition, anomaly detection, and data clustering to extract valuable insights from large datasets.
- Design and optimize scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for efficient data ingestion and processing using tools like Talend, Hadoop, Spark, and Bash scripts.
- Collaborate with data engineers to develop robust database schemas and ensure efficient database design for storing large-scale data.
- Deploy AI models into production environments utilizing cloud platforms such as AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Conduct data mining activities to uncover hidden patterns and relationships within linked data sources for enhanced analytics capabilities.
- Utilize natural language processing (NLP) techniques to develop intelligent language understanding applications.
- Integrate machine learning frameworks with existing systems using languages like Python, Java, C, R, and VBA for automation and analysis tasks.
- Perform model training and evaluation to improve accuracy, efficiency, and robustness of AI solutions while maintaining detailed documentation of processes.
- Support cross-functional teams in leveraging big data tools like Hadoop and Spark for analytics projects that inform strategic decisions.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience with cloud services such as AWS for deploying scalable AI solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Python along with familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning techniques including supervised and unsupervised learning methods.
- Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, SQL databases, and ETL processes.
- Solid understanding of database design principles for managing large datasets efficiently.
- Programming skills in Java or C are highly desirable for system integration tasks.
- Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), linked data concepts, and semantic web technologies.
- Ability to perform model training, deployment, and optimization in a production environment on cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Knowledge of analytics tools such as Looker or SAS for visualization and reporting purposes.
- Experience working with data mining techniques to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Strong analytical skills complemented by experience in quantum engineering or related fields are a plus.
