Role Description
This is a remote, contract role for an Artificial Intelligence Research Scientist. In this role, you will conduct research and development on innovative AI methodologies, build and enhance models and algorithms, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to solve real-world problems in areas such as drug discovery, robotics, and advanced engineering. Daily responsibilities include designing AI experiments, analyzing datasets, and staying abreast of advancements in the AI and machine learning domains. You will contribute to building transparent AI systems while ensuring they meet performance and reliability requirements.
What we're looking for
- Experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Statistical Models
- Strong skills in Programming (Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch) and Algorithm Development
- Background in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computational Science
- Proficiency in Data Analysis, Feature Engineering, and Data Visualization
- Experience in drafting Research Papers, Technical Presentations, and Scientific Writing
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Doctorate or Master's degree with equivalent experience in AI, Computer Science, or related fields
- Experience in domains such as Robotics, or Advanced Engineering is preferred but not required
