As we develop an enterprise-wide data and digital strategy that moves us toward greater focus on the use of data and strengthen our digital and AI capabilities, we are looking for an Associate AI Engineer. In this role, you will contribute to developing our AI technical capabilities, projects and products that seek to yield a significant business benefit and advantage in the market through execution on innovation.
What you'll work on
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Contribute into a team effort of building scalable AI capabilities to drive the solutions which will enable functions across the insurance value chain such as underwriting, pricing, claims, distribution, operations etc.
- Exercise and develop robust data science, GenAI and software development skills and support solution delivery by following the lead of senior technical members.
- Ensure high-quality software delivery by following code review process and standard.
- Be able to clearly communicate the expectations of development effort and help set up the project timeline by collaborating with project managers, senior data scientists and software developers
What we're looking for
- Hands-on knowledge and experience in the life cycle of AI technical capability development, from ideation and data exploration to model training, selection, deployment, and monitoring.
- Requires a combination of solid execution, strategic thinking and ability to ‘connect the dots’
- A minimum of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Supporting multiple specialty areas of Digital, Data and Analytics experience is preferred
- Passion for digital, data and AI and experience working within a digital and data driven Organization
