**Role Description**
This is a full-time remote role for a Computer Vision Engineer. The role involves developing and optimizing computer vision algorithms to empower PlayAction AI’s football analytics solutions. Day-to-day tasks include implementing pattern recognition systems, collaborating with the data science team to refine AI models, and integrating cutting-edge computer vision technologies into the platform. Additional responsibilities include ensuring software accuracy and efficiency while continuously researching advancements in computer vision and related fields.
**Qualifications**
* Strong expertise in Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition
* Knowledge in Data Science, and their applications in AI-powered solutions
* Solid foundation in Computer Science and problem-solving techniques
* Experience with algorithm development, optimization, and deployment
* Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Typescript
* Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team
* Previous experience in sports analytics or simulation systems is advantageous but not required
