Your Role and Responsibilities

Do you have proven experience finding actionable insights in large data sets that lead to measurable business results?
The Product Led Growth team is highly skilled and dedicated cross functional team with the mission to improve performance for a small subset of IBM’s products. As a Senior Data Analyst within Product Led Growth, you will work on the cross functional demand team for a specific product and work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and sellers. You will be responsible for providing driving data recommendations use analytical insights and helping set the strategy to achieve the growth KPIs for your product.
You will get exposure to all aspects of marketing and demand, from early-stage audience targeting via paid media investment, to capturing demand through our web presence, to response to lead management and sales analytics.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to focus on synthesizing and applying analytic insights during the execution phase to improve performance for a specific product.
Duties Include
- Perform quantitative analyses to evaluate the impact of marketing activities on-demand generation, including pipeline, revenue, content engagement, media spend optimization, routing, channel performance, lead conversion, pipeline yield and ROI, and other key strategic levers
- Utilize proprietary and external data to understand IBM’s target audience segmentation and create recommendations for improving the user experience at all stages of the journey
- Measure performance and establish new measurement systems to detect performance shifts and increase marketing effectiveness
- Develop and present data-driven optimization recommendations via dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses
- Communicate insights to team members, other marketing groups, and IBM leadership
- 1+ years relevant work experience, including experience in a data-driven technology business or company with a sophisticated data stack
- Technically skilled to work with complex datasets using Advanced Excel/SQL/R/Python or other query tools to process and analyze data
- Experience with Cognos / Tableau / Dundas or other data visualization tools to facilitate flexible analysis of business performance and associated root causes
- Deep critical thinking skills and curiosity to pursue open-ended problems via data
- Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate complicated analyses to non-technical employees and leadership
- Business acumen with the ability to develop data-driven business recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines
