We are a remote-first company with a globally distributed team. You can find your productive zone and work from there.
You will:
Design, build and optimize Sardine's Data infrastructure, including processing (apache beam), data warehouse (BigQuery), relational (Postgres, alloy), and nosql (elasticsearch, Graph DB, bigtable) databases.
Improve different aspects of our Data Platform: data governance, data quality, monitoring, alerting, performance, and cost efficiency.
Manage data infrastructure in Terraform.
Collaborate with business stakeholders as well as our clients to build new services from scratch.
Work closely with various engineering and product teams to align efforts and deliver top-notch solutions.
Help shape our company's engineering culture and keep high engineering standards
An ideal candidate has:
A minimum of 4+ years of experience as a data focused Software Engineer
Strong experience in programming languages like Golang
Experience building and operating cloud-native data pipelines or orchestration tools
Experience with ElasticSearch or similar technologies
Strong analytical skills with SQL
Experience with graph DB is a plus
Data science experience is a plus
A strong customer-centric approach with empathy towards users
Relevant industry experience and domain knowledge is a plus
Compensation: Base pay range of $50,000 - $70,000 + Series B equity with tremendous upside potential + Attractive benefits
