I am Alba Marin the recruiter for this position (and hopefully, your future colleague!).
What you'll work on
- Collaborate with platform and solution engineers to design and develop new data platform features
- Build and prototype data-driven logic for automated classification, detection, and quality assessment
- Analyze structured and semi-structured datasets to validate feature behavior and performance
- Implement and test algorithms, rules, and heuristics to improve accuracy and reliability
- Support integration of data science components into existing platform services and pipelines
- Evaluate results, identify edge cases, and iterate to reduce errors and improve robustness
- Contribute to documentation, technical specifications, and knowledge sharing
- Work alongside experts in various technological domains.

What we're looking for
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, or a related field
- Strong Python fundamentals and ability to write clean, maintainable code
- Solid understanding of data structures, schemas, and common data formats
- Basic knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and classification concepts
- Experience with SQL and data exploration techniques
- Ability to design and reason about deterministic logic such as rules, heuristics, and pattern matching
- Familiarity with version control and collaborative development workflows
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and comfort working with ambiguous or imperfect data
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineers
- Active student status with a Spanish University/School is mandatory.
- Passionate about a tech career.
- Available for at least a 6-month part-time/internship program.
